The Start of A New Normal: My Story

The Fam.jpg

In 2014, I lost my mom, dad, and two youngest brothers in a carbon monoxide accident while I was serving an LDS mission in Portland, Oregon.  If I were to rate how hard that was for me on a scale from 1 to 10, it was level 10 hard.

The tragedy of that loss led me to find my passion for writing as I shared my grieving process, trying to figure out my new normal life on my first blog, "A New Normal."

Even though it has been years since they have passed, my parents and brothers still play a integral part of my life. They exist in everything that I do.
I find that I am passionate about educating each other about the aftermath of trauma and grief, particularly due to a lost loved one, in a healthy, open, and honest way.

I have been able to share my experiences with many groups. I am passionate about speaking about and helping others endure through their own LEVEL TEN hardships, regardless of what their scenarios may be. Part of this blog will discuss my thoughts about trials and hardships and how we can endure them.
